Desert Bloom Chainable Chevron Charm

One of the original three boards designed to test out the idea of wearing PCBs as jewelry was the chevron. These charms are chainable and look great when used in traditional jewelry making. They are currently powered by 40mAh LiPo batteries and attached with a JST connector on the back of the PCB. A second round of protos are in the works with a new power system. 3D printed enclosures are also on the way.

Above is the first working prototype of the chevron charm. As soon as I turned it on I was disappointed that I didn’t catch the design flaws. The switch needed to be rotated 90 degrees and the LEDs meeting in the center is just bad

The next prototype was a bit better. I updated the LED placement, made the boards a little smaller and slightly increased the drill sizes so any jump ring could be used to chain the boards.
