Etta and Gella Collaboration: HackModWear
Originally designed for the Hackaday Superconference 2018, HackModWear is an Arduino hardware development platform based on the SAMD21 microcontroller and is packed with sensors, IO, battery charging and more. With the UF2 bootloader it also works in Makecode.
A unique feature of this board isn’t just its shape but what other shapes it might take. The shapes chosen to create the diamond board where inspired by traditional jewelry and tangrams. The diamond appeared organically while laying out the board in EagleCAD.
The board is pre-wired so the user can run through all 10 example projects and get a feel for the hardware. The board can be snapped apart just the LilyPad ProtoSnap boards. The contact pads are designed for sewable applications as well as solder connections.
Sensing Capabilities include sounds, color, proximity, light, gesture and time.
